My soulful thought for today is about giving. There are countless ways to give. For example, somebody do not have anything, but to ask for help is beyond their prestige. If we can recognize their struggle and help them keep the flame going, in their house, it is a wonderful act of kindness and charity. One must never give to anyone, who just live on others. They are habitual liars and they got used to free lunches and everything in the physical world. If one see an animal hit by car and dying on the road, run to help them, this is very good giving. Some one emotionally struggling due to many burden that person to carry, comfort and sooth them with kind, compassionate word. Whom to give, when to give all must be judged by the situation and authenticity. Even our own homes, some of the people refuse to give, they may be looking for a kind word from the spouse. Our home is the breeding ground for charity, love and all other virtuous habits, which alone will carry our soul to the Divine. Not many prayers and attendance to worship places. Take for example all the mystics, sages, saints, they Give out all they have. They get great joy doing it. They do it to the forgotten, abandoned, the sick. Do not do anything to add to boosting our ego. This is terrible for the souls/spirit progress. If we humans were generous, careful, and kind, I tell you, we all will live like in the paradise. There is Bible Story, where an injured man lying in pain and suffering. People are running to the Temple to worship. The passer by just looked at the poor guy and moved on to their worship. Finally a Samaritan Passes by and see this suffering man, he took charge of this injured man took him to some place where he can get his medical attention. He even paid and made sure that he get his proper care. All these and million other stories are written in the Bible and All other Holy writing. We have failed. This is how we will defend our faith and Love for the Divine. Your inner quality, no one can take it away. WE humanity must give up many things, if one is a spiritual being. Follow the dictate of the Loving heart where Dwell the Divine Spark and ITS calling. Our empty words will not move the mountain. But, our kind and compassionate living with and for one another as the whole creation is part of us can move the mountain. We must not do anything wherein one suffer, it is not charity, not giving. It is robbing of that person peace or whatever. If we want to move the mountain let us join together in Love, faith and charity, most importantly self discipline, self mastery, recognizing the soul/spirit purpose in the physical living. When we seek only for ourselves, we have to rob others of something precious they have. It can be material or the inner peace etc. We use our vehicle to practice, charity, love and kindness to all. Our Divine Is an inclusive Force. We are seemingly different.. this must give us much chance to express our love and charity to others. Start from the Home to the village, then all over. Let our tongue be used for speech that speak kindness, compassion and truthfulness. We have to start somewhere to clean this mess we the humanity created for us and the rest of the creation.
