My soulful thought for today is about the hardship we face on our hike to the high mountain on the Spiritual path. Countless times I wrote in the past about this. This is very close to home story for me. Yes it was very clear and visible to my soul eyes. I know this for sure. If one decides to follow the Spiritual Path, there waits the rugged mountain trails filled with thistles, thorns, rocks, slippery steps, it is hard and it gets harder as one ascends to reach the peak.. Scriptures says, the souls who takes the wider path which is smooth and paved which lead them to the abase of their existence.. and many are those who take this path. What is this paved and wider road.. it is the easy way around things. Justify everything. Do not care for the other travelers as we all are. Do everything to please the animal nature. Sure they believe in and worship. Fine. To an intelligent person, one does not have to say much. We all are being misguided by some forces and it will leads to the abase. But we can only do our spiritual journey through physical existence. We have no say in the matter. It is the creator brought us into the ANIMAL kingdom and live among them to rise above them in soul/spirit. We are endowed with faculties of wisdom, love, empathy, compassion, able to reject the wrongs, accept the right and beautiful. Help the stumbled ones, heal the sick in the soul/spirit. Ability to treat ALL Creation as whole and part of each other. Seek Union in the face of diversity to achieve Union with the Creator. What is the rugged mountain that we have to climb, walking through edges, steps on thorns and spikes, lose rocks, rolling stones, slippery slope. It is very hard. What are these, we have to climb. All these are also placed/embedded in our psyche/soul/spirit existence as animal nature in the humans. For example, when we are faced with abuses, selfishness, Jealously, ego driven existence, where no one exist but themselves alone and they rule, seek for ourselves, our pleasures, care for nobody, lie, cheat, desire for satisfaction of our lower nature, lust, desire to force someone to do sex, rob, cause mental and emotional pain to others, other beings etc. When we put aside these and desire to know God, desire to seek soul purpose, we will loose grip over all these above mentioned natures. These natures that we have to over come while in the physical. Recognize; we are in the school. If we dislike all that and live like brute.. we failed our soul/spirit purpose for this life time. We must respect all souls/spirits dwelling in other bodies. We have eat to keep the health of the body. We will try. Some times sickness is unavoidable due to many factors. We must not cause stress to other beings. As we are moving physical beings, we go through stress and it will manifest in the body. Because we are not a pound of flesh and bones. In this house of ours or others, dwell the Divine love Soul/spirit in action. We must live with wisdom, Speak with careful thoughts that uplift and help others in their ardent and hard journey. Inwardly, these hikers are left their comfort zone of physical pleasures and moved into a different way. Do not t rash them as heretics. This is what the path their Divine required of them. Before they walked the wider road of all what the world can offer. Their time is up. Here I would like to mention a story. I and my husband went to the Colorado Mountains in the winter. He climbs high mountains and skis the slope. For me snow was very strange and I could not even stand on the snow. We were up in the mountain, he sat on the snow and zoom, he slide through the snow into a frozen lake far below the mountain. For a moment, I thought, I am gone and I will never unite with him. Well then the idea came into my mind, I was a runner through hills, rocks, ups and down. So, what I did, I somehow reached the slope of the mountain filled with rocks and difficulties. However, that was my refuge. I slowly rock after rock walked and reached down where he was waiting for me. I took the Hard Way. I will never forget this. Just have some fun reading it. Know that Spiritual path is filled with thistles, thorn, lose rocks and thorny bushes. Which is our nature, recognize them, remove them. Desire to reach the Mountain of the Lord of Joy, Peace, Unity, Oneness. It is all happen in the inside of each of us are willing to walk the narrow path. Magic is it not?
